Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research & Analysis
- Competitor Benchmarking : Continuously analyze competitors’ social media presence, influencer partnerships, content strategies, and engagement.
- Audience Insights: Research audience behavior, preferences, and trends to create resonant content and identify relevant influencer voices.
- Social Listening: Monitor digital conversations and feedback about Spacetoon Go, fan communities, and cultural signals to uncover insights.
- Trend Analysis: Track platform updates, digital trends, and fan-driven content to inform creative strategy and adapt quickly.
- SWOT for Social: Conduct regular SWOT analyses specific to Spacetoon Go’s digital presence to support strategic growth and content focus.
2. Strategic Planning
- Social Media Strategy: Lead the design of platform-specific strategies to promote Spacetoon Go’s content (anime, cartoons, originals).
- App Promotion Strategy: Build strategies that drive engagement and downloads of the Spacetoon Go app across digital platforms.
- Platform Strategy & Innovation: Stay ahead of algorithm changes and format updates, constantly evolving tactics to increase engagement and discover ability.
- Content Calendar Ownership: Develop and oversee a strategic content calendar tied to content releases, cultural moments, and platform behaviour.
3. Campaign Development & Execution
- Campaign Management: Set KPIs, plan, and manage social media campaigns from ideation through performance reporting.
- Influencer Marketing: Identify, partner with, and manage influencers who align with the Spacetoon Go brand, building campaigns that boost reach and credibility.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Align with internal marketing, PR, and creative teams to ensure unified brand messaging and campaign execution.
4. Creative Oversight & Content Production
- Creative Supervision: Guide the development and review of all social media content to ensure creativity, accuracy, and brand consistency.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the social team, setting clear creative standards and workflows to produce standout digital content.
5. Publishing & Community Engagement
- Scheduling & Execution: Oversee the rollout of content across all platforms in line with the content calendar and strategic goals.
- Community Engagement: Foster a vibrant online community—engage with fans, respond to comments, and spark conversations.
- Community Management & Moderation: Monitor discussions, enforce guidelines, and ensure a safe, inclusive, and brand-positive environment across all social channels.
6. Performance Monitoring & Optimization
- Metrics Tracking: Track engagement, reach, growth, app downloads, and content performance across platforms.
- Strategic Adjustments: Use insights to iterate on content types, posting times, and platform-specific tactics.
- Platform Testing: Lead experimentation with new features, creative formats, and digital tools to stay competitive and innovative.
7. Team Leadership:
- Lead, inspire, and mentor the Social Media team fostering a culture of continuous learning and trend awareness. Monitor individual performance, evaluate ROI, and develop clear succession plans for growth
Qualifications & Requirements
- A deep passion for anime, cartoons, and original digital content creation is a great advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 4+ years of proven experience in social media management, preferably in the entertainment or advertising sectors.
- Demonstrated success in running social media campaigns across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), Snapchat, LinkedIn, and others.
- Proficient in using social media management tools like HubSpot, Hootsuite, Metricool, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of social media analytics and performance measurement.
- Hands-on experience in planning and executing paid social media campaigns.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
