Job Summary:

Spacetoon Education is looking for a dynamic and experienced Animation Team Lead to oversee the animation pipeline and guide a talented team of animators in producing engaging, high-quality content for children's educational programming. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, and creative vision, with a passion for storytelling and child-focused learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a team of animators, ensuring smooth workflow and creative alignment across all projects.

• Review storyboards, animatics, and final animations to maintain quality and consistency with the Spacetoon visual identity.

• Set clear artistic and technical direction for each animation project.

• Provide mentorship, performance feedback, and support to junior and senior animators.

• Collaborate closely with the design teams to align animation with educational goals.

• Oversee project timelines and resource planning to meet production deadlines.

• Establish and maintain animation guidelines and best practices.

• Troubleshoot production challenges and ensure efficient resolution across the team.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 6+ years of professional experience in animation, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.

• Strong proficiency in Moho (Anime Studio) and Toon Boom Harmony.

• Deep understanding of animation principles, rigging, and character performance.

• Experience working on content aimed at children or educational audiences.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Knowledge of animation production pipelines and version control practices.

• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., ClickUp) is a plus.
